2026-2027 After-School Science Enrichment Schedule

We have three fun and engaging eight week sessions of after-school science classes planned for the 2026-2027 school year. Each session has a unique theme and we explore a different science topic each week.

Fall Session 2026: Science Explorers

As science explorers we investigate the many fields of science in this session! We explore all about air, learn about germs, buoyancy, light, create catapults and much more!!

Begins the week of Sept. 21st and ends the week of November 9th. Make-up dates in case of inclement weather or instructor illness are Nov. 16th-19th.

Winter Session 2027: Crazy Chemistry

Are you ready to explore the world of Chemistry with hands-on experiments? The possibilities are endless: color, pH, food, polymers, bubbles and much more! The best part is…We Make Science FUN!

Begins the week of January 4th and ends the week of February 22nd. Make-up dates in case of inclement weather or instructor illness are March 4th-11th.

Spring Session 2027: Earthworks

Have you ever wondered how the Earth works? Each week students will perform experiments exploring the moon, rocks, owls, birds, animal habitats and much more! Students will take home the creations they make in class to continue the science FUN!

Begins the week of March 22nd or April 5th and ends May 27th. Make-up dates in case of inclement weather or instructor illness are June 1st-7th.

Amerman Elementary

Fall Session 2026: Science Explorers

Who: Students in Grades 1st-5th

Time: 3:45-5:00 pm on Wednesdays

Where: Amerman STEAM Room

Tuition: $166 per student; $136 for student with a parent helper, parent helpers must attend all 6 weeks. All materials are included. Amerman PTA receives $5 of the tuition per student as a fundraiser.

Dates: 10/7, 10/14, 10/21, 10/28, 11/4, 11/11 (make-up date is 12/2 if a class is cancelled due to instructor illness or inclement weather)

Who: Students in Grades 1st-5th

Time: 3:45-5:00 pm on Wednesdays

Where: Moraine Art Room

Tuition: $220 per student; $175 for student with a parent helper, parent helpers must attend all 8 weeks. All materials are included. Moraine PTA receives $5 of the tuition per student as a fundraiser.
